Για τον Δαβίδ της Γαλλίας τον David Guetta, έχουμε γράψει αρκετές φορές! Είναι ο τύπος που εδώ και 15 χρόνια έχει αλλάξει κατά πολύ τον χάρτη της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής τολμώντας να πραγματοποιήσει πράγματα που άλλοι δε θα έκαναν ούτε σε 100 χρόνια!
Τελευταίο παράδειγμα το νέο του κομμάτι το «Dangerous» στο οποίο αντί για ρυθμό και χορευτικό περιτύλιγμα δοκιμάζει μελωδία και pop αισθητική, έχοντας στα φωνητικά την εξαιρετική παρουσία του Sam Martin, που στην κυριολεξία απογείωσε το “Lovers In The Sun”!
Η έκπληξη όλων μεγάλη, όμως κάτι που είναι 100% αυθεντικό όσο και πραγματικό είναι η δημόσια τοποθέτηση του φίλου μας Έλληνα Mash Up Artist, Robin Skouteris, ο οποίος πολύ παραστατικά όσο και εύστοχα περιγράφει στον facebook τοίχο του τα παρακάτω:
«Just heard the new David Guetta song “Dangerous” and i am pleasantly surprised. A lot.
It’s not house, it’s not EDM, not even Dance. It has many piano and orchestral elements and great vocals by Sam Martin. The ending with the strings is amazing.
This makes me happy. I’m still curious if people will keep calling those artists “DJs” and not “producers” , if they’re not always producing dance music.
We often criticize artists like David Guetta for selling out or turning chart EDM into something different and cheap. But since they have such a popular name in the industry over the years, and influence the charts’ sound, i am glad when their new step is one in a very interesting direction, more emotional, more orchestral, one with more soul. Cause others will follow that.
Cause that’s what EDM and the charts have been missing lately.
